Growroom Productions continues the quest for new and interesting sounds with the introduction of Hyper Battle, where live electronic textures are steeped in stadium power chords and languid melodies that score the landscape of an apocalyptic future. 'Forest' is our first steps into the world of Cylo Hyper, the year 2037, as he adventures through space and time to find extinguished light.

"Not long after graduation, Cylo found himself in the passenger seat of June’s graduation present: a red Jeep her father got her by bartering semiconductors. They were headed south to meet up for 2 weeks of partying and adventures with some friends on Miami Island. They hit a lucky patch with the weather, finding a now unseasonable cool breeze and mild conditions where usually temperatures would be in the low 100s. Before they made it to Miami Island (the erosion had taken all but a few bricks), they were stopping at Pisgah National Forest for a 2-day camping adventure. They parked off of the side of a mountain and took a quick walk to find a place to set up their tent. Of course Cylo made sure to bring along the finest psilocybin mushrooms.
As they explored the forest, they began to see vivid colors, with bright oranges and yellows. They felt the wind as it breezed through their bodies. Clyo took a deep breath of the cool, fresh air. The mushrooms made him feel like a leaf on a tree, blowing in the wind, safe and carefree. There was no thought of any problems, no fears, no anxieties, and no pressures. He felt euphoric as he wandered through the vividly colorful forest, with his spark of light, Juneau walking with him."

This is the beginning of a three Act series of EPs that will explore Cylo Hyper and his journey through worlds in the not too distant future. Act I is coming soon so stay tuned.
