Dabe is here with "All Adds Up," the first track from his forthcoming full length, "All the Best Songs I Can Remember" due out mid-2024. A rhyming mostly-skewer, part-homage to consumerism, "All Adds Up" has nostalgia all over it, from the plodding "Desolation Row"-esque delivery to lyrics borrowed from late night infomercials of the 90s to today. Wit is what shines through the fog. With each turn of phrase, including the repeated chorus, a double or triple-entendre is delivered with deadpan nihilism, stoking the flame of distrust in consumer culture and having us question why we continue to participate, all while enduring belly-churning chuckles.
